    • 1# lean ground beef
    • 1# ground pork
    • 1 large onion chopped fine
    • 1 small green pepper chopped fine
    • 1 small red pepper chopped fine
    • 8 cloves of garlic minced fine w/ kosher salt, approx. 1 tsp.
    • 1/2 c of finely ground oatmeal
    • 1 large egg
    • 3/4 c Fessler’s Sauce
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper


    Combine the meats.(Just get in there with both hands and mix it all. Saute’ the onion, peppers and garlic, just until they are slightly sweating. Scrape from pan and let cool in a container. After cooling completely, add to the meat mixture and combine.

    Now add the following in order to the meat mixture:

    1/2 cup of finely ground oatmeal (use either food processer or coffee grinder),

    1 large egg,

    1/2 cup Fessler’s Sauce,

    1 teaspoon salt,

    1/4 teaspoon pepper,

    Mix all ingredients in thoroughly. Shape into loaves. Place in a glass loaf pan and spread more Fessler’s Sauce on top of the meatloaf. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 1-1/2 hours or when the temperature of the meat loaf reaches 160 degrees. Use a meat thermometer for the temperature test. Remove from oven and let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. This can also be made in muffin tins, but you will need to adjust the time some.
