This Orange Chicken Sauce is great on 1″ cubed chicken breast that is fried. This will make enough sauce for two 16 oz chicken breasts and rice.
To begin this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
1 cup of Fessler’s Honey Sweet BBQ Sauce
1 cup Smucker’s® Sweet Orange Marmalade
2 TBS Soy Sauce
1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
Mix all of the above ingredients in a small sauce pan and heat until well combined on low heat.
Dredge cubed chicken in 1/2 and 1/2 mixture of corn starch and flour. Put the flour mixture in a ziplock with the chicken and shake it up. (for gluten free-use only corn starch) In a pan, add oil and fry up all of the cubed chicken. Fry it in batches as to not over crowd the chicken. Place cooked chicken on paper towel to catch excess grease.
Rice-White or Brown
Prepare your rice as instructions indicate on the package.
When all of the ingredients are prepared; place chicken in a bowl and add sauce. Mix Well. Portion the sauced chicken over the rice on individual plates or a serving platter. Top with sliced scallions for garnish.
