Fessler’s Kraut-Dogs

From Start to Finish!

Pictured: Black Angus All Beef Hotdogs


  • 8 large frankfurters or (polish sausages)
    8 oz sauerkraut w/caraway seeds (drained)
  • 1/4 cup Fessler’s Original Sauce
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • Directions

    Slit frankfurters lengthwise, cutting only ¾ of the way thru.

    Place Fessler’s Original Sauce in slit with a spoon.

    Combine sauerkraut and onion.

    Stuff about 2 Tablespoons of the mixture into the slit of each frankfurter.

    Secure with wooden picks.

    Grill for 10-12 minutes, turning frequently.

    Remove picks.

    Serve in frankfurter buns if desired. Top with more Fessler’s Original Sauce. Enjoy!
